Disable Cast in Chrome

this can no longer be removed? is switching to Edge the solution ?

That shouldn't be possible as you would need to initiate the cast from your end, and I  worry that you might have a bigger issue than simply using Chrome.  You can delete chrome if you wish and use edge, but again I would strongly suggest looking into securing your system so that they cannot access it.

Sorry I am confused, you want to remove the ability to cast from Chrome?  I mean, thats an integrated feature that, if you dont use it, wont do anything, so I am unsure why you would want it removed.

people in my wifi are using Mirror without my consent, capturing my screen
what u linked to is what i had, but after version 94 this is no longer there
