Disney + app error

Both my Chromecast with google Tv devices all of the sudden have the error code 83 for Disney +. Haven’t been able to use the app on the Chromecast for months. Only works on my mobile devices…

Are there any updates pending for the app? Have you tried uninstalling it and installing it again?

No pending updates, on the app or devices. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Clear the cache a few times. Spoke to Disney tech Support. I’m not sure what happened or why.

Disney support doesn't have much in the way of troubleshooting for this unfortunately:

Although I tried, I couldn't find anything sensible that you could otherwise try apart from factory resetting your Chromecast.

still no change. I have tried everything as far as a factory reset on my Chromecast. Maybe I have faulty devices…?

Thanks for getting back to us. Can you watch videos from other supported apps? If the issue is isolated when using Disney+, please reach out to the app developer for additional help.

Yes I can watch Netflix, Prime, NHL, and Apple TV no problem.
