Error msg to migrate nest. Now my account seems to be gone. Is the point of Google migration to brick all my devices so that I can no longer use them? Is there any way possible to get help with this?

I'm not sure what you mean by "Error msg to migrate nest".  We migrated our Nest Account to a Google Account in 2020, and since then we've signed on using the "Sign in with Google" option using our Google Account.

You could check this Help topic for migration errors:

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9297676

You could also try contacting Support.

To contact Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Select your device from the dropdown, click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country

Update:

Thank you for the information.

I was able to do a chat with support. What I found out was, even if you have the newer generation nest thermostats (I have two), google essentially bricked those as well for me because the email I had originally used on my nest account was not a google email.

Because of this it was unable to migrate, and it deleted all my devices, my multiple season thermostats hourly programming, my connections to the utility company, and all my temperature sensors. Support told me I had to start over again since google was unable to migrate a nest account that was not a google email address towards a google account. And since it had already attempted once, it cannot be done again.

if I need to start all over again from the beginning, it will be with another brand.

That does not seem right.

The whole purpose of migrating from a Nest Account to a Google Account is to migrate from a non-Google email account to a Google email account.

As noted in the Help topic below, some things can go wrong during the migration, but none of them should brick your thermostats.

Suppose, for example, you got an error saying "Google Account is already linked with another Nest account." This could happen if you originally set up your thermostats with a non-Google account, and then later set up other Google Nest devices (like Nest Hubs or speakers) using a Google account. In that case, you can't migrate TO that Google account because it's already in use for Nest devices. (I don't know why this is a limitation, but it is.)  In this case, as explained in the Help topic, you should still be able to sign into the Nest app using "Sign in with Nest" using your non-Google Nest account, remove your thermostats, sign out of the Nest app, sign back in using "Sign in with Google" using your Google Account, and then reinstall your thermostats. Your thermostats should still have all their settings once they are reinstalled.

You could try reviewing that Help topic to see if that clarifies your situation, and then maybe contact Support for a clearer answer.
