Everything broke this week

Suddenly the Google Home app reports a whole heap of my lights and devices as being offline. The ones offline are all (I think) tp-link. They work through the tp-link apps so they aren't offline, it's just they aren't being picked up by Google Home.

I've tried unlinking and relinking the tp-link apps to Google Home, it hasn't helped. Any advice would be welcomed.

Is this another glitch from the 22 December update?

Yes, likely a Google Home glitch from the Dec 22 update. TP-Link devices are fine; Google isn’t syncing. Try Sync devices or wait for a fix.

Makes sense that it's the update. That's the second time in about as many months. Last time Home stopped recognising rooms. This time its a lot of lights and devices.

It would be useful if there was some more testing before an update is foisted on us causing everything to stop working. My nest hub camera isn't working now, either. I don't use that one much but it's annoying nevertheless. You pay heaps for a product only to have the supplier break it on you.

Hi

Same issue here All devices ( except Google devices) are offline all of a sudden. As you mentioned, I know my devices are on the network cuz they still work in the devices personal app. Mine has several different brands (examples tp link and Automate) all stopped working at once in the Google Home app. I've actually noticed over the past few months the tp-links smart plugs have to get relinked to Google a few times. But this time even resyncing isn't giving it back I never had automate disconnected in the 4 years I've had it, but it also has become "offline"
