Google Assistant doesn't recognize Google Assistant notes & lists as an app

Up until recently, I was able to use Google Assistant on my phone to add to and view lists made through Google. I would hold the home button on my phone to bring up Google Assistant, ask to see the list, and it would pull up the desired list through Google assistant.

However, "Hey Google, show me my shopping list" now makes me enter an endless loop with her where she says back, "Okay, which app do you want to use?" If I select 'Google Assistant notes & lists' she just repeats, "Alright, which app do you want to use?" and makes me try to select again. Forever. The only way I can access lists on my phone now is through shoppinglist.google.com on a web browser, which I didn't even know was a thing.

This is super frustrating, why did it happen and how do I make it go back to normal?

Hi there,

Please try following the steps below.

• Open the Google Home app.
• Tap on your account icon (top right).
• Select 'Assistant Settings'.
• Select 'Notes & Lists'.
• Check the 'Do not sync with other services' option.

Can you please test the command "Hey Google, what's on my shopping list" and let us know if you still have the same issues?

If you could also let us know more information about the device and operating system version you are using please.
