Nest cameras were successfully migrated to the Home App. Alerts were set up - everything was fine. All of a sudden about a month ago it stopped working. Went through an attempt to re-set it up only to get to a point where:
When I attempt to add the "starter" "When I arrive at or leave a location" a screen comes up and says "Location-based starter is only available for Android phones"
Really? Without any notice/warning?
Also, the "Action" I want to add to the "Routine" is getting camera alerts and that does not seem to be an action option.
This is a home security issue for me please provide immediate assistance.
Thank you.

This is a known bug that Google doesn’t care about and is probably never going to fix. The only way for you to fix it is for you to add another phone to your Google Home account. That is an android phone and once it senses, there’s a android phone attached then the automations will return and you will be able to see it on your iPhone. Then you’ll be able to remove the old android device and the automation will still stay and work. It’s so stupid
