I recently purchased a Pixel 8 and was also gifted a Nest Mini which prompted me to set up a smart home setup.
I have a Samsung Q6OAA TV and Samsung Q6A Soundbar, both of which were quickly found by my Pixel using "Settings>Connected devices". However using the Google Home app (and the Device setup app) I could only add my TV via a Chromecast dongle and the soundbar just refuses to be found.
I'd like to use my Nest mini (or via my Pixel) to stream using the soundbar, as it has a better sound quality. The only way I can do so at the moment is using the TV natively or via the chromecast but I don't need any visuals whilst listening to music.
Why does the Google Home app not "see" devices that the Pixel can?
