I am trying to connect a Philips hue hub to my Google Home app and it keeps on telling me "Philips Hue is linked" then an animated circle (in the google colours) is spinning, takes a while and then responds "Something went wrong. Try again". This is a second house, in the first house, all work well. In the Philips Hue app I could not enable the "Out of home control", just gave an error.
So I removed the Philips Hue from my first house and created a new account in Philips Hue online.
I have reset my Philips Hue completely and re-setup all my lights and switches in the second house. Linked it to the new account. After hours of work, I can control everything in the 2nd house within the Hue app. Even the "Out of home control" I enabled and worked. So I think the problem is not in the Philips Hue.
I created a new home in the Google Home app, and configured all my Google speakers and assistants. All work. Finally I wanted to add the Philips Hue to Google home. And it won't.
These are the messages I get:
but after a minute or so spinning:
I've tried resetting and restarting everything I can, but it just won't add the Philips Hue to Google Home.
The error is not giving me any clue what's wrong.
I've tried to set up this on iOS and on Android. Same result. Anyone some ideas how to get this working?

I have same problem and asked for help in this forum. Google Home worked with Hue without any problems until 2 days ago. I subsequently unlinked Hue, but subsequently relinking fails continueously. Bridge is connected (checked on https://account.meethue.com/ and google app are up: hue-hca-actions-on-google and actions-on-google all connected as well); all devices on same google acoout, everything up to date. Next tried everything that was suggested on this forum, even completely factory reset of Hue Bridge (V2), which is a lot of work with my 33 Hue devices, but same problem. Hue app works fine. The problem occurs on both IOS app (Ipad) as well as oogle Home on my Samsung phone.

Hi Azarco,
Thanks for your time. None of what you suggested worked. I had done rebooting already, including resetting of Hue Bridge and lots of other stuff. I found the solution and that had to do with the network. I have both a Google Mesh wifi network as well as a modem (for the the internet connection) with a seperate wifi. Google Mesh is connected to the Modem. Google Home and Hue were all set-up to Google Mesh Wifi and that's where I could not make the link to Hue. The Hue Bridge is connected by cable to the modem. The solution came when I connected my ipad with Google home app to the wifi network of the modem. That allowed the link between Google Home and Hue Bridge. When I subsequently connected my mobile devices to the Google Mesh wifi I found that Google Home was fully functional, including all of the Hue Devices. So yes it had to do with the wifi network, but in a way that is not documented anywhere. With more and more Mesh routers supporting networks in homes it is something that can easily happen. Would be good if notably Google would look into this. If one set-up Google Home with Hue bridge before a Mesh router is introduced everything works also across the Mesh router, but if one afterwards re-installs stuff there will be a problem if one does not connect to the wifi of the modem / router to which the Bridge is connected.

I have not been able to test it yet, as the location of this setup is not near. I will try these options as soon as I can and will update this post.

Arrived at the apartment and tried the connection again, surely it connected correctly to the Phillips hue and I am able to control all in Google home without resetting anything. No idea why the last time it gave me so much trouble. Happy it works. Topic can be closed from my end.
