Google Home is absolute Trash when trying to work with Nest

Seriously, delete the google home app source code and start over. It is inferior garbage. I will dump my nest products before my i will use this garbage

I'm leaning on agreeing here. I bought a new Nest cam and now have to use 2 applications for my 3 products. My previous 2 Nest cams work best in the Nest app, but the new third cam only shows up in Google home. The Nest app is very intuitive, however the Home app is clunky and awkward.

ditto. I have been searching the internet for an answer as to how i can add a family member to Home. Mine asks for a name or email and does nothing when you hit enter. Nest was sooo easy and elegant, all my family members had access and now i am probably going to jettison all if it b/c of Google and the fact that i have to enter family members thru Home.

absolutely agree. totally garbage. How can Google screw up Nest products so badly. 3rd party app integration into Home is so bad. I had with Google products. I'm done with this nightmare.

Actions, not Just lip service Garrett. So excuse me if I don’t believe a word of your scripted response because the transition of nest to google home couldnt be more Titanic-ish. Time for me to trash my remaining nest products and buy a brand that cares about customer experience.
