In our Google Home, we have the Nest Doorbell (battery), two Nest Cam (indoor, wired), and a Nest Cam with floodlight. I am no longer receiving notifications for any camera events or doorbell events. I've done everything, not working. I do think this started once I migrated to the Pixel 10 Pro from Pixel 9. At first, simply restarting the 10 Pro resolved the issue. Now, nothing that I've tried is resolving the issue (Turn off All Notifications at the Google Home App from Settings and Turn back on, Toggle all notifications off and on in each camera within the Google Home App, Unrestricted battery in Google Home App and Nest App, Clear Cache, Force Stop, Turn off Device, Turn On...).
I installed the September Security Update yesterday: Android version: 16 Android security update: September 5, 2025
Google Home App version: version 3.39.51.0 com.google.android.apps.chromecast.app
Interesting - my daughter also is not receiving notifications on her Pixel 9a. My wife is, on her Pixel 9. All devices have the same Google Home App version. I'm having the exactly same issue too on my 9Pro XL. Started yesterday. I've tried absolutely everything too.

I've also been having the same issue. Started this week. Have a Google Doorbell (Battery) and Pixel 9. Completely reset the doorbell and then set it up again in the Home app. Adjusted the battery restrictions for the app on my phone. tried clearing cache, no change. The only thing that sort of works is clearing storage for the home app and re-signing back in. Then I have to set up all the notification settings again each time, because the moment I reboot my phone, I stop getting notifications again. My wife has the Pixel 9a, also with the same problem. I've given up now, can't think of anything else to try.

Paying full price on Near product and having this issue is not really great from Google

This is on my Pixel 10 Pro. I will fill the form out. Here are some more details as well:
This is the only way I have gotten this to work, however once working, it will stop working again once I power off and turn the phone back on or restart.
1. Force stop, clear cache, clear storage, uninstall
2. Power off the phone and turn the phone back on
3. Install Google Home and setup
4. Restart phone
5. Google Home Camera and Doorbell notifications will now work.
6. If I restart the phone or power off and turn back on, Google Home Camera and Doorbell notifications will stop working again. Repeat the process...

Update: It appears, that once I got it working again by doing the above, and then installed the Google Play system update: August 1, 2025, it no longer breaks once I restart/power off my phone.

Update: I received a second Google Play system update: August 1, 2025, and after restart from this update, the Google Home Camera and Doorbell notifications have once again stopped working.

I am having the same problem starting yesterday. Recently updated to Google home premium and notification stopped after about 3 days. I have tried clearing cache, and also reinstalling the app, no luck.

This has been an ongoing issue for about a month now. I am on pixel 9 pro and also home camera notifications have stopped being pushed to my phone. The steps listed above work on and off but nothing has been a real fix for this issue.

The exact thing is happening to me. Wouldn't it be nice if google home read these messages and fixed the issue.

I have a Pixel 8 and installed the latest update this week and all my push notifications for our Nest camera have stopped. This is concerning. I have an elderly parent at home that we keep an eye on with this camera. I have also tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions in this thread and the two reddit threads with no luck getting the notifications working again.

This just started happening to me today. No notifications, not even a doorbell ring comes through on any device except the Google Hub. Tried all the above steps!

Same here, no notifications since I changed my WiFi setup (new router so new APN and password). The set-up for these devices for something simple as changing WiFi is ridiculous. My Nest Camera with Floodlight is mounted high up on the wall of the house, so I needed a ladder to get to the reset button. Absolute shambles.
Anyway, I'm no longer getting away only notifications which I was on the same day with my old router.

My notifications are now working fine. I made no changes in the Home app.

I have been experiencing the same issue. No consistent notifications on my Pixel 10 Pro XL. It seems when the Google Home app updates, they work for like a day or so but then stop out of nowhere. I have tried clearing cache, wiping out modes, and reinstalling the app. Interesting enough, the notifications still come through on my Pixel Watch 3 without issue. This has been going on for over a month at this point. My Pixel 7 Pro XL, also on the newest version of Android still gets notifications. Seems to be device specific.
