Google Home unable to recognise SmartHQ devices. Did anyone find a resolution?

I've been unable to complete the Works-with-Google link for my Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher which is connected via the SmartHQ App.

When I attempt to link using either add a Works-with-Google device in the Home app,  or the Connect-to-Google-Assistant link in the SmartHQ app, I will get an 'account successfully linked' message, but then no devices appear and the link is deleted. When I ask Google Assistant to sync devices, it shows the devices from my other links (Daikin, Broadlink etc) but then tells me 'one or more devices are unavailable, please try to connect again'.

I can see that others had the same issue last year with SmartHQ devices, I think a fridge and an AC unit (they were using the Android app, I am using iOS):

Did anyone ever get the devices to sync?

Hi downunderdave,

Thanks for reaching out. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. Is the Google Home app updated? Try to relink it and observe if it makes a difference. Using another phone will also help us isolate this.
