Google Keeps Changing Nest Account

Irtheman
Community Member

I set up a neutral account for the family. We all have our own Google accounts. All the devices in the house are supposed to use the neutral account. No one wants their personal information showing up on the displays. I keep finding that these devices are logged in with my own account. I am tired of always switching them back to the neutral account. Does anyone know how to make this thing stay on the account it was set up for?

I think Google is being a little too invasive.

Hello Irtheman,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; we'll check this out. Just a few questions: Did you use the neutral account for the initial setup for the Google Display? Have you invited a home member to get access to the Nest Display? If not, Please check if they use the neutral account to sign in to the Google Home app.

I look forward to your response.

Thanks,
Edmond
