If anyone can solve this problem I will gladly compensate you any reasonable amount.
I'm currently casting Google Meet from Chrome on Windows 11 with a Logitech C920s PRO HD WEBCAM to a TCL Roku TV via a brand new Chromecast with Google TV (HD) and everything works just fine EXCEPT there is NO AUDIO from the meeting host or anyone else.
There are no issues with the speakers or microphone settings, it all works perfectly until we cast the Google Meet to the TV and then the audio stops.
Casting ANYTHING else other than Google Meet to the same TV with the same hardware and configuration works flawlessly, no issues with video or audio. Everything is crisp and clear.
All software and firmware has been updated to the latest versions.
Can anyone please help? Is this a known issue? I haven't been able to find anything online.

Hi I have had a similar issue in the past, with a similar but not identical set up.
Double check that windows 11 is not immediately turn the sound on mute when call is on moved to display, then check what if it has switched the default audio in the sound settings.
Another potential solution that worked for me. Is downloading the Roku remote app (free) on a mobile device, when the call is on turn on the private listening feature ( the small headphones on the remote). You should be able to hear the meeting folks on cellphone speaker. You can then connect your phone via bluetooth or aux to a speaker of choice to amplify the sound.
Hope this works.

Thank you both for the replies. Unfortunately no, the issue still persists and after further investigation it has been determined that this is a known bug with Google Meet/Chromecast interoperability that started around 12-18 months ago after one of their Chromecast updates which broke this functionality. Given the project requirements from our commercial client we were forced to abandon Chromecast due to a lack of support and compatibility. Fortunately we managed to engineer our own solution and were able to continue utilizing Google Meet separately by integrating directly with the Smart TV's our client wished to use.
