Is this google home mini so pathetic a device. I . Have to yell to wake it 

2. Google duo calls not work. One day it works next day it’s gone. 
3. Multiple times the setting has to be done.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this with your Google Nest Mini. Could you please tell us what exactly happens every time you try to use Google Duo on your Google Home Mini? We'd love to know more of it so we can check what would be the best steps to try in resolving this.

Greetings for the day and very happy to see your revert am amazed. Honestly I bought this nest mini with lots of hope and enthusiasm but in the period it’s just lying idle. The response to Hey google is pretty low, if in case we ask google nest to stop while playing a music it seems it can’t catch the command and goes on - after 3/4 attempt it will stop the song that’s being played. 

Google duo - calling doesn’t work. While on the my Apple phone it shows it’s calling but there is no communication (read response / rings / alerts ) to google nest home mini. I tried adding the deleting the software re pairing the nest to my phone etc but no response. It worked fine for few hours after that, within the same network (home) it’s not giving any response forget from other location (office, car). 

Very disappointed. Do u suggest I should switch to Alexa. This thing is not working

Thanks for the details you’ve shared, and sorry for the delay. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. Try to connect it to another network and observe if it makes a difference.
