Wyze camera won’t load

Cromanyshyn

My Wyze cameras will load on my Google Nest Hub, but will no longer show on my iPhone google home app. I reset my Hub, deleted the app from my phone, restarted my phone, restarted the cameras and they still will not load. When I go to the Wyze app the cameras are perfectly fine…. Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi Cromanyshyn,

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. Did it work before? Were there any recent changes on your iPhone that might have caused this? Try to relink the Wyze camera to your Google Home app and observe if it will make a difference.

Regards,

Juni

I have not been able to get the cameras to load, I have reset the cameras, disconnected them from the app, deleted the google home app, reinstalled it and they will still not load on the google home app

Hey Cromanyshyn,

Apologies for the delayed response and thank you for providing us with new information. Few more things we need from you to isolate this further.

To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. Tap Settings and then Device information.
  4. Under "Technical information," check for Cast firmware: "X.XXX.XXXXX." If the device is on Fuchsia, check for System firmware version: "X.XXXXXXXX.X.XXXXXXX"

Check the firmware version on your Nest display:

  1.  Swipe up from the bottom of the display screen.
  2. Tap Settings and then About device. You should find your "Cast firmware version."
    • For Nest Hub (1st gen) and Nest Hub Max: If “Fuchsia Version” is also listed, this means your device runs Fuchsia.

Regards,

Dan
