Why is everyone a manager? The purpose of this app is to control devices, WiFi, lights , etc…

why wouldn’t there be managers and Children? So the kids cannot control thermostat and internet access? You can set up internet times, but they have access to change it!!!

Are the kids using the app under their own google accounts? If so, when the accounts were created, they needed to sign up as a child. Then when you go to add them to your home.. they can be added to devices and not necessarily the home. It allows you to have parental controls on what they have access to. So first ensure their email is not shown as an adult rather a child.
