Google home error with lutron caseta

I have several google homes (max, regular, mini) and Lutron, Hue, Feit iOT lights installed. Recently, google home says it can no longer connect to Lutron.

I unlinked lutron, and tried to relink. However was unable to get google home to let go of lutron connection. I went into lutron and delinked, but still google home would not unlink.

I then deleted my home, and created a new home. Relinking everything, not fun b/c I have nest products too - relinked lutron, and that worked for about two weeks, now the same thing happens, google home cannot reach lutron. 

I also see that this was an issue for some users last year, and there was no response from Google team.

please help!!! 

ps. I have iOS and Android devices and used them both to relink/delink things, and still no luck.

Sorry to hear about the issues with Lutron not being connected to the Home anymore, I'm sure it's frustrating to see that, but I'm happy to look into this for you. 

To get to the bottom of the issue, please answer some questions I have. 

• Have you tried factory resetting the devices?
• Have you tried uninstalling the Google Home app and reinstalling it?
• Have you tried powercycling the Lutron?

I would suggest trying those things to see if that solves the issue. I have done some research on my end and it seems like in the past, this has happened because of an issue on Lutron's end.

I can confirm I did all the requests you listed. 

Google Home still has issues connecting with Lutron: “can’t reach Lutron”

Sorry to hear you're still having the same issues. Have you tried reaching out to Lutron for help from them? As I stated, this seems like it is an issue on Lutron's end and we aren't able to troubleshoot past what options I've given you.

lutron app and pico remotes work. It only seems to be a problem with google.

I can try and reach out to lutron. However, google was having trouble letting go of lutron. For example, when I unlink lutron from google, and break connection in the lutron app, lutron still shows up in google home!

that leads me to believe it’s google home servers having an issue dropping connection from Lutron. What say you to that? Can you check on google home servers for issues like that?

Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with this. Just to clarify, you're having issues with unlinking Lutron with Google Home or having problems with trying to link the device back with Google Home? 

While I'm unable to check the Google Home servers for issues like that, I can confirm that there are no current site issues involving Lutron on our end. That's why I would suggest checking with their support as well.
