Google home invite

Hi

I'm trying to invite a @yahoo.co.uk email to Home but I can't progress beyond inputting the email address

A requirement for anyone using the Google Home app is to have a Google (Gmail) account.

It's too bad Google Nest does not note the Google account requirement in its "Invite members to a home" documentation. All it says is "Enter the name or email address of the person you want to invite to your home."  And when the non-gmail account invite fails, there's no indication as to what the problem is.

You can use your own email address, doesn't have to be gmail.com as a google account.
