Google home/nest dropped Bluetooth now won’t re- pair with phone

After just setting up the Google smart speaker. Nest. The Bluetooth was working perfectly then suddenly dropped. 
After making my phone ‘forget’ the paired device/speaker to try to reestablish the connection it won’t reconnect and just comes up with an error. 
how can I reconnect Bluetooth please?

Now my phone can’t even find the ‘kitchen speaker’ in order to connect Bluetooth.

Hello ArtyO, 

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out.

Please ask your Google Nest speaker "Hey Google, clear all Bluetooth devices" before rebooting it for a minute. Once done, turn on Bluetooth again and try to connect it to your phone.
