Google home speaker groups

Vitman5

I have multiple google mini speakers throughout the house and multiple floors. I have a few groups setup based on floors and areas. When I go into the google home app to select a group to cast to that works fine I used to be able to tap the group and control each speaker's volume. When I do that now all I get is the group settings. I have re-started my phone and still the same.  Anybody have ideas or did google change that program recently?

Google was just ruled against in a legal dispute with Sonos because of this there are changes.

That isn't what we are talking about.  This isn't the volume not working, this is not being able to cast to a group.  Totally different issues.

Thanks for posting the link I appreciate your response, thank you.

Not sure how that's working when selecting a group takes you to settings. I'm only able to cast to a group if an app has the cast option. No more "Cast my audio" option on speaker groups, just on individual speakers.

You can still adjust individual speaker volume. Tap the cast icon in the app you're casting from, then tap the down arrow next to the volume control and it will show each speaker's volume setting.

You are right I meant to say if you are on a app like YouTube music you select cast from there then the groups pop up for you to select. After that I would go to Google home and tap on the group to get the master volume for the group. In the top right is where I would tap the now removed icon to breakout each devices volume. My bad.
