I have recently moved and I had to setup my hue hub again. I tried to reconnect Google home to the hue hub but the message: "unable to reach Philips hue, please try again " kept appearing. I own a Google pixel 7. So I tried the following things:
Reset hue hub
Reinstall Google home app
Downgrade Google home app to previous versions
Use a different device, including a Google tablet and an iPhone.
Use a different router, despite all the other apps and Samsung smart things worked normally.
Uninstall Google app and play services following the instructions on this thread https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Apps-Account/Google-Home-app-quot-Could-not-reach-service-quo...
Connect the hub to Samsung smart things and try to connect Google home to smart thing
None of this worked.
No service can be connected to Google home from any device, the message: "unable to reach [service] please try again" is the only thing I get.
I've been trying for days now I'm extremely frustrated as I cannot operate my lights in my house.
Please help me 😟

After banging my head in the wall for about a week I found the solution:
I removed myself from the public preview and then after a day it started working. I don't know if it was a coincidence but after I added all the third party accounts I rejoined the public preview and now everything works.

I have exactly the same problems. Every possible solution you desrcribed I tried too. Been searching for a solution for hours. None so far. I am seriously considering switching to Alexa. I have around 100 smart devices controlled by Homey and because of the problems you described there is no way to voice-control my devices.

Since I tried everything I found online as a solution I switched to Alexa. Just got tired of not being able to control my lights. It's a shame, I have 2 nest hubs, the doorbell, 3 minis and 6 nest protect. Really disappointing.
