Google home widget stopped working on iPhone

All of a sudden, my Google home widget stopped working on my iPhone. Already tried removing and adding the widget, the whole Google home app and restarting the phone. Please help!

yes the app is up to date

yes the iOS is up to date

i do not have anyone else in the home. 

I do not have an android phone to test.

Thanks for your reply.

Let's try these steps in order:

• Remove the Google Home app from your iPhone.
• Restart your iPhone.
• Install and set up the Google Home app. If previously enrolled in Public Preview, re-enter Public Preview if needed.
• Force close and restart the Google Home app (to refresh experiments and runtime flags) and restart your iPhone (to restart the widget extension).
• Try to add the Google Home app widget.

Also, please answer the following questions:

• Do you have several Google accounts on your device?
• Are all of your Google accounts subscribed to Public Preview?
• Please share a picture of the widget state and/or error message.

Please keep me updated on how it goes.

Same issue after doing all of that. 

I have 2 Google accounts on my phone but only 1 signed in to Google home. 

Neither are subscribed to public preview. 

I can see how to attach a photo here.

Updated the app and having same issue now. Uninstalled and installed again now widget won’t work.

I have issue with Google Home widget on iOS latest build. I’m enrolled on preview by my widgets are showing black.
