Hey Google sync devices command

When I use the phrase, Hey Google, sync devices, I get the response;

"Pixel 6 isn't available, you might want to try setting it up again"

Without doing a factory reset, what do you advice for this please?

Hey kevinp23,

 

We're sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on.

 

When did it start happening? Have you tried linking smart home devices to your Google Home using your Pixel phone? Also, is your phone connected to your Google Home device via Bluetooth?

 

Could you try clearing the cache and data of your Google Home app then, reinstall it? Checking for system updates might help too.

Hi Alex, it started about a month ago. I have removed the Home App, cleared cache and re-installed it. The error still occurs when trying to sync. Could it be due to the Android Beta 13 update not recognising the device?

Hey there,

 

We didn't receive any reports about this but that might be the reason. Have you tried resetting your speakers or displays to see if that helps? Could you also try updating your Google App and Google Play Services?

I restarted and reset the app phone and all nest devices and still not working as expected.
