How can i select smart home devices on assistant ambient mode?

I can't find a way to select which smart home devices are shown on Google assistant ambient home.

Is there a setting somewhere in assistant or Google home?

Hi there,

Are you asking about the quick launch settings on an Android phone or the Home control section of a Google Nest hub display?

Neither.  I'm trying to open Nest on my iPhone. It asks me to open the "Google App" and click "Yes" to verify that it's me, but it doesn't tell me which Google app to open. Do you know? Google Home? Google Chrome? Google Image? etc.

On an android tablet, when enabling ambient mode on google assistant app, i see this:

but in my case i only have one devices (a sensibo ac controller) and nothing else, where can i set them?
