How do I reject unknown request to join in the Google Home app?

I’ve received a request from someone I don’t know to join the home on Google Home app. I can’t see the request in the app and don’t know how to reject it. What so I do?

Thanks for reaching out to our community.

If you receive a join request on the Google Home app, don't worry. Managing requests is simple. 

Once you've received the invitation, you should see a popup that says "1 pending invitation." If you don't see the popup, you can find the invitation by tapping Favorites and then Inbox. If you still can't find the invitation, check your Google account's email inbox.

Once you tap the pending notification, it will show you the devices being shared with you. At the bottom, you can accept by pressing Next or reject by tapping decline.

After that, the pending invitation notification should be gone, and you can manage your devices as usual.
