How do I set up an outside light to come on & off at sunset/sunrise in Google Home app?

Hi GMR,

 

Thanks for visiting the Google Nest Community.

 

Here’s how to set up Sunrise/Sunset routines:

 

  • Open the Google Home app > Tap Automations > Press the + button at the bottom right.
  • Choose the type of Routine.
  • Put a name for this specific routine at the very top where it is written “Untitled”.
  • Tap + Add starter > At sunrise or sunset. Configure the schedule > Add starter.
  • Tap + Add action > Adjust Home Devices.
  • Save the routine.
