When I try to link my Bluetooth Phillips Hue lights to my Google home account, it asks for a login and then tries to connect a Phillips bridge (which I do not have). How can I access the sleep and wake up routines on my Bluetooth Phillips Hue lights using voice commands on Google nest if I can't link the accounts without a bridge?

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to hop in here to see if there was anything that we could do to help. Upon reviewing, it looks like the best help would be to go to the Phillips customer service pages and review how to set it up with the Google Nest.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Having the same problem here with Philips Hue Bluetooth lights. Somehow it is detected by my iPad (which I use to set up the Philips Hue BT app) and I managed to connect a Sensibo to Google Home also, but Philips BT and Google Home just won’t connect regardless how many times I tried unpairing, resetting, etc.

Hey there,
Just wanted to hop in here to see if we still needed help on this. I have sent this information over to our engineering team and they ask that you provide them feedback through the Google Home app to them. They suggest including the keywords, "#Lights" along with the name brand of the lights and a short description of what you're encountering.
Best regards,

I read about this problem over at another site.
So apparently, we think every product that can listen to us say "OK Google" can actually connect to BT devices but that is not true. What I had was a Lenovo Clock with BT Speaker and while it was perfect in giving orders to my Sensibo and some other devices that were connected via login accounts and not BT, one does need the actual Google Nest device (whether it is a mini or some other device).
Google Assistant does not equate Google Nest, Long story short, I managed to connect the lights to Google home after I purchased a Google Nest Mini.
Then came the bad news. There was a power outage (manually triggered when I switched off the plugs) and while I could still see the Philips Hue lights on my Google Home devices, the lights won't respond. All attempts to remove and reconnect has failed so far. Another device which I connected successfully to Google Home after getting the Nest, was still connected.
I am giving up and have ordered the Hue Bridge. It is just too much pain trying to resolve these problems like a young man.

Same problem here, Philips Hue app works just fine but when trying to connect to Google Home, the google app just can’t seem to find the bulb through bluetooth. This confuses me because it is advertised that you can connect your bulb with Google Home through bluetooth.

I've got the same issue, can't connect my Philips Hue bulbs to my Google Home without the bridge
