When I say “sync devices” it responds with:

I have the same problem. I have no clue why it’s doing this.

Sane problem here too. Is there an answer ?

Same problem for me too. It's been plaguing me for what feels like years.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for posting. C
Sorry to hear about this experience. Could you please check if the Home app is on its latest version? Also, has anyone tried to use a different phone/device other than iOS?
We'd love to know more details so we can check what steps we can try to resolve this.
Best,
Princess

Hello princess. Yes my Google assistant and home apps are fully updated. The issue isn’t the iPhone itself because if I ask my assistant to sync services it fails from any home device and iPhone. I can see the iPhone listed in my devices under Google assistants app but I can’t edit any of its settings or remove it.

Hi MIGDev,
Thanks for the info.
Could you please list down all the Google speakers you're using? Also, what are the commands that you are trying aside from syncing your devices?
Best,
Princess

I have a Google Home Max, Nest Audio, Two Nest Hubs, A ChromeCast Audio, and some Nest Minis and Home Minis mixed in as well.
I use all these speakers for music playback, timers, smarthome control, etc.
It seems like there is an old iPhone or a version of my iPhone before a wipe that is just stuck in the Google Devices that Home/Assistant thinks it should be syncing with but I cant remove it anywhere from my device list.

Hi MIGDev,
I appreciate all the details you've shared. Let's try to reboot your speakers by simply unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes. While waiting, unplug your router for a few minutes and let's try to sync the devices as soon as everything is plugged in.
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
Princess

Yes. I've rebooted my devices and my router but I dont understand how that would lead to a stuck iPhone in my devices list being removed.
