LG ThinQ app no longer on Google Home

Hello.

 
I have had an LG Nanocell TV for a few years and always had it linked to my Google Home account using LG's "LG ThinQ" app.
 
It has recently stopped working as intended. I tried to relink the apps and accounts but the "LG ThinQ" app is no longer an option on the "Works With Google Home" tab in Google Home. Also, Can no longer sign into my TV. I'm guessing this is related as it originally signed in using my Google account.
 
Read somewhere that Google or LG have pulled support for whatever reason. Was wondering if this is true? It's pretty bad if true as I'm no longer getting the functionality I bought the TV for.
