Managing faces in Google Home app

I have setup familiar face detection on the Google Home app for our Nest outdoor cams. I can’t seem to find the setting to turn off notifications for familiar faces and only send them for unfamiliar faces… seems obvious but I can’t find it. Any ideas? Thanks!

Google Nest does not give us the option to send notifications for unfamiliar faces, but I've seen lots of customers in this forum ask for this capability.

Hi folks,

Thanks for the help @MplsCustomer.

@bensman, thanks for posting. When your camera spots a familiar face, the event includes the name (if any) you assigned to the person. When your camera spots an unfamiliar face, it will send an unfamiliar face alert, however the option to just enable the unfamiliar face alert and disable the familiar face alert is a feature that is not available.  We're always looking for ways to improve. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.
