Nest signed me out of my account and I can sign in with my google account because I get a message that I have cookies disabled. I have not changed any settings and on my web browser I have allowed all cookies.

Yes, thanks. I spoke to someone over the phone and it seems that my settings on Safari had changed to "block all cookies" and that was not allowing me to sign in, even though I don't use Safari and I only use Chrome and my settings there were ok, somehow because the apps from the app store are affected by the settings on Safari
