My account has two homes but only one home got Gemini update. Is this normal?

As subject.

Under the same account:

One home, actually is my office, with only one Nest doorbell, one Nest Hub and two Nest mini got Gemini update yesterday (10/28).

Another home (main home) with more than 15 Nest devices got no Gemini update.

Is this normal?

Thank you

Vince

Btw my main home also has google home premium standard subscription.

@VWU302

Maybe Google Nest is rolling out Gemini gradually, and the rollout isn't smart enough to know when two "homes" belong to the same customer.

This Help topic refers to Gemini starting to "roll out" Oct. 28:

Yes probably the Gemini roll out is based on per home, not per account.

I am still waiting the update for my main home ☹️

Hi VWU302,

Thanks for reaching out to our community.

I understand you're concerned that only one of your home structures, the 'Office Home' (with 4 devices), received the Gemini update, while your 'Main Home' (with over 15 devices) has not. I'm happy to help explain this.

Thank you  for your contribution to this thread.

This is completely normal, as the Gemini update is being rolled out in stages. Rest assured, the update will eventually reach your 'Main Home' structure as well.

If you have any questions or concerns in the future, feel free to reply to this post.

Regards,

Virna
