My nest says to login to the Google home app but I am already logged in

Google nest won’t do anything and keeps telling me to login to the Google home app. I am already logged into it. Why is it saying this?

I'm sorry for the late response, but I wanted to make sure that you got your concerns addressed. I know that these devices can sometimes be confusing due to their error messages, but I'm happy to look into this for you. 
Just a few clarifying questions:
  • What device specifically are you using?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried?
I would try to perform a factory reset on the device that you are talking about as well.
