Nest Cam Battery Wired Cant Mute Live Feed iPhone

Hello,

I've posted this question a few months ago but had the thread locked without an explanation.

When viewing the live feed. I use the volume control on my iPhone. (The two buttons on the side).

I hold the volume down button. The sound goes down but not all the way down…it’s indicated by the icon still showing that the volume is still on. Quiet but nevertheless still on.

This has been a problem for a while now and is really starting to annoy me. Can this at least be acknowledged as a known problem?

I am having the exact same problem. Yes it is annoying and seems like it should be an easy fix through an update. Clearly many people are having this issue and I have yet to find a reason that it is like this. I can mute on a “playback clip” but not a live clip. I have an iPhone 13
