Nest Temperature sensor shows up on Nest app but not Google Home app

I have the Nest Learning Thermostat and it connected to the Nest Temperature Sensors well on the Nest app. But I don't really use the Nest App, I use the Google Home app but the Google Home app is not syncing with the Nest app for this device. I've looked online and I think it's compatible with the app. So i'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I have the same issue.  Also the learning thermostat won't show up in Smartthings
