Nest app and google home, using two apps

I can do some things in both the Nest and Google home app but not all in either. Can you all please figure it out! Google home is awful, not user friendly and constantly crashes. If I had my choice I would just use Nest, it’s easy to see cameras and if my doors are locked on the Home Screen. But you are supporting new devices in Nest so here we are. Seriously it’s been like this for over a year. Pull it together over there.

Good luck getting any help on this. We have all been having the same issues. Google clearly doesn’t care.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delay. This is not the experience that we wanted you to have; let me help you out. For the crashing Google Home app I would recommend for you to force close and reopen the app. Reinstalling it might also help. You can try to use another phone too to isolate this.
