After logging in to nest app on iphone ios version18.6.2 i shoud recieve an email verification code. But it was not send. No mails in my spam folders or elsewhere. I reinstalled the app, but does not work either.
This issue arrives suddenly on several ios devices such as iphone and ipad. Everything was working fine on my side for eight years until now.
what is going on there. Is my device from 2017 still supported ?
i would like to recieve some help.

I have now received a verification email 20 hours after requesting code instead of within 15 minutes of receiving the email, code doesn’t work . Please can someone help me get into my nest app

I recieved a verification code yesterday, one day to late. They have to fix it. Could lead to problems operating the thermostat.

@Piets, thank you for troubleshooting on your side. Note that when no newer version of the app is available reinstalling it is not recommended. Please confirm if you managed to resolve the issue and share with us the successful steps taken on your side, and let us know what your device is.
@Karen68, please share with us the error code or message that you receive that makes the code received not work, or if the issue was resolved in time. Also please indicate what your device is.

Hello Huberto,
I tried login on iPad Air from my wife. Verification code was ended outside the timeframe, more than an hour to late. Also I tried login on my iPhone. Same problem arises. So a server side problem still persists. Before we needed a verification code we had never problems login in on whatever Apple device we own. Looks like the business rules the server admin/database administrator implemented are not correct. There should also be more clients who have the same problem. For me looks like a simple process to send back a code to a email adress.
I hope you have enough info to inform the responsible IT techs that this problem still persists.
