Nest controls

Dear All

I cant get on to my nest account.

I used to be able to control my heating at home while away.

Please help. Do i need to reset?

If you have a Gen 1 or Gen 2 Nest, it doesn’t work with the app anymore at all. Google decided it didn’t want to support the software anymore so if you want to control it with the app, you need to buy a new thermostat.

  • What is the specific model of the Nest Thermostat linked to your app? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify your thermostat model.
  • When did the issue start?
  • When you try to log in to the Nest app, what is the exact message you receive, or does it just get stuck?
  • When you log in, do you select 'Sign in with Google,' or do you enter your email and password directly?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?

No, don't reset... You will loose your other account. Booth it.
