Nest 3rd generation thermostats did not adjust for Daylight Savings Time; i.e., heat turned on at 5:30 am instead of 6:30 am setting. ????? This is my first heating season with Nest.

Hi @wthomsjr
I've seen this sporadically reported without a solution unfortunately, it doesn't seem to happen to everyone. There is a workaround you can try which other users have reported success with.
Disconnect your thermostat from Wi-Fi (simplest way to do this is to just turn off your Wi-Fi router temporarily). On your thermostat, you should see the "no internet" warning message.
Press the thermostat ring to open the Quick view menu > Settings > Date and time. Manually set the time to 2 hours in the future.
Press the thermostat screen down until the screen turns off (about 10 seconds), then release. Press and release the ring to turn the screen back on and complete the restart process.
Restore power to your Wi-Fi router.
Your thermostat should reconnect to Wi-Fi after a minute or so and then switch to showing the correct time and follow your schedule accurately again.
