When I go to Music services in the Google Home app there are no music provider options. None. It only shows no default selected. When I ask one of my speakers to play a specific playlist it confirms the command and then after a minute of silence it says my music service is disconnected.
I’ve tried resetting my devices. I’ve tried deleting the app and its data and then downloading again. I’ve tried deleting my home, and recreating it.
nothing has worked.
now I am also getting an error message on both Google minis. (kGSKErrorDomain error -83902) before you ask, yes the languages set on them is the same as my account. I’ve seen that asked in other unresolved help requests.

Hi Nyauwi,
Thanks for reaching out. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. When did it begin? Are you using Android or iOS? You can try to use another phone to isolate this.
Keep me posted.

Juni

Hi
I have the same problem,
After working fine, (Apple music available through google nest) for a year -
Last week it stopped and I get the message that Apple music is no longer linked.
Apple music doesn't appear in the list of 'your music services'
( FYI- there's been no changes in my ongoing subscription to Apple Music).
Thanks

I use iOS 17.2. The only solution I’ve been able to do is use a very old iPad (won’t update past iOS 10), but i cannot connect my phone at all. The moment i do it all disappears even though the iPad will still say i have Apple Music.

Hi folks,
Nyauwi, thanks for the details you’ve shared. I’m glad that it’s working on another Apple device. Did you make any changes recently to your iPhone? Since this is isolated to your iPhone, have you had the chance to contact Apple support?
stweir, thanks for posting. You can try using another phone, just like Nyauwi did, to isolate this. Let us know the result by updating this thread.
Thanks,
Juni

i have the same problem as above. the google mini keeps telling me to log in to the google home app, which i am... and, when i go to music, there is no default option that shows. I do have pandora, which i used before i moved. And finally, i keep getting the operation error, 83902 at the very end of the set up, when it seems like i'll be able to take the final step to a connection. i had no problem a few weeks ago. thanks.

Did anyone get a fix for this? I’ve encountered the same issue (iphone 14 pro max/iOS 17.2) - i’ve got a premium youtube AND Spotify account but neither show up under music providers - only happened when i updated to the latest version of the app.
I’ve got an ipad rocking an older version of the app and it DOES work but whilst that’s a good workaround, it’s not a solution. Have been talking to google support on X/Twitter & they can’t recreate/say they have no big reports or other reported cases so it must be certain parameters causing it rather than EVERY iphone rocking the latest app etc

Will be trying the steps suggested shortly but doesn’t bode well/seems to suggest they’re saying it’s a ‘me’ problem…
