@Riana

What do you mean "changed Wi-Fi" device? Did you get a new router with a new network name (SSID) and password? If so, Google Nest's process calls for removing Google Nest devices from the Google Nest app or Google Home app while on the old Wi-Fi network, doing a factory reset, and then reinstalling the devices while on the new Wi-Fi network.

What do you mean by "change wife on app"? What change are are you trying to make, and in which app?

Hi folks,

Thanks for the help, @MplsCustomer.

@Riana, thanks for posting. If you own Nest speakers and you don’t have the old WI-Fi network available anymore, you need to do a factory data reset on your Nest speakers to put them back to their default settings and set them up as a new device. Check the steps below for guidance.

Set up your speaker or display on the new Wi-Fi network:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. At the top left, tap Add and then Set up device plus and then New device and then set up new devices in your home.
  3. Follow the in-app steps.

If these steps don’t solve the issue, you’ll need to factory reset your speaker or display, then set it up again.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Juni
