Something with this update caused all my Google nest devices to go offline through the app. Thankfully they still work manually but anyone have a solution to get them back online through the Google home app?

Hey Jmmranderson,

I'm sorry to hear about your Google Nest devices going offline after the update. While it's frustrating that they're offline through the app, it's great to hear that they still work manually.

To troubleshoot and get your devices back online through the Google Home app, you might want to try the following steps:

  1. Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is stable and that your phone or tablet has a strong connection. Sometimes, connectivity issues can be the root cause.
  2. Try restarting both your Google Nest devices and the router. This can often resolve connectivity issues.
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app installed. Updates can sometimes bring bug fixes and improved compatibility.
  4. In some cases, removing and re-adding the devices in the Google Home app can solve connectivity problems. Follow the app's instructions for adding devices, and see if that resolves the issue.

I hope one of these suggestions helps you get your Google Nest devices back online! If you have any other questions or concerns, let us know.

Warm regards,
Mark
