So tired of this crap Google can't get anything right for longer than one week at a time... Google can't control my lights once again that I've had for 6 plus years that work perfectly with their respective apps, when asking Google questions she gets ridiculous answers, Google hasn't been able to control my Vizio Smart cast TV's for 3 years, one of my lights Google doesn't even recognize anymore...
Google is SO inconsistent. 1 day it works fine, 1 day it only half works and the next it hardly works right at all. NEVER has these issues until the 1st major update 4 years ago. This app has been a nightmare since then. Every update creates more issues and/or worsens existing issues! Google's typical responses have been uninstall then reinstall, fill this form out, fill that form out, we're trying this new feature, we're exploring these new options, reset up your routines, use a different account - JUST STOP AND LISTEN TO YOUR USERS FOR ONCE!
MANY of us are having the exact same issues, but you continue to ignore what we are saying/describing! There was a time when Google was flawless - worked every time, had intelligent answers to our questions, worked truly handsfree (now she makes us look at the screen for information instead of verbally informing us - which defeats the purpose of handsfree)...
The main problems seem to stem from: 1. changing/filtering trigger words - yes my Vizio tvs USED to respond to the word TV, then they only responded to TELEVISION after an update, then you completely broke the connection... 2. your presence sensing is not accurate - I live in Illinois, many times it showed me in Arizona? WTF? Sometimes routines do not work at all (including PRE PROGRAMMED ROUTINES) sometimes they work AFTER the fact when the event time has actually past (like my lights turning on 10 minutes AFTER I get home!) The new color wheel on your "light" control feature is not even close to being accurate at all... there are more issues as well...
FIX YOUR APP!
