Room light not found when setting Sunrise alarm

WHUFCLes

Hi,

When attempting to set a sunrise alarm on my 1st Gen nest hub it does not show the room light in the ‘Select lights’ screen in order for me to select it.

The light bulb works fine with voice control and can be controlled via the hub but it doesn’t show up on this particular screen.

can anyone advise please?

Hey WHUFCLes,

Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help.

A few questions: were you able to select lights for your sunrise alarm before? When did this issue start? What's your light bulb manufacturer? Have you tried some troubleshooting steps?

Ensure that your lights are in the same Home structure and Google Account as your Google Nest Hub (1st gen) so you can choose them for your sunrise alarm. You can also unlink and relink your lights to re-establish connection. Check out this support article for the steps on how to remove and add your lights to your display.

Let me know how it goes.

Kind regards,
Lovely
