Routine step order

I'm creating a multi-step routine. I'd like the routine to play the news and then play Spotify afterwards.  Problem is, the news step defaults to the bottom of the routine step list and it doesn't seem as if it can be moved to any other position.  Why is this and how can I move the step?

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that achieving this can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please let me know.

Best regards,
Garrett DS

When I say, "good morning" to my assistant, I have it tell me about my calendar/weather and play the news.  I'd like for the last step to be for the assistant to play a playlist from Spotify, but the 'news' step stays at the bottom of the order and cannot be rearranged to any other position.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the frustrations that you're having with the Google Assistant, I'm happy to help.

I would suggest visiting our Google Assistant Forum and writing to them there as this is a question that they would be able to help answer.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Nope. Still can't rearrange the news step.  News step in routines goes to the bottom and none of the places I've been directed address that issue.

Hi there,

I would suggest writing in the Google Assistant forum as I mentioned above as this is an issue that they will help with. Please allow them some time to respond as well.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I saw the response. I've posted the question where you recommended and am waiting on their response.  You're a lot quicker than they are 😜
