Send Chromecast Audio to Home Speaker

I have a 4K Chromecast connected to my second monitor which has no speakers. I want to cast the audio to my Google Home speaker. I have tried everything I can think of and cannot seem to find the way to do it

1. What steps have you tried to cast the audio from your Chromecast to your Google Home Speaker? 
2. Is the Google Home Speaker in the same Home structure?
3. Have you tried the steps below to cast the audio to the Google Home Speaker? 

• Open the Google Home app. Google Home app.
• Tap Favorites or Devices.
• Tap the device's tile.
• Tap Settings Settings and then Audio.
• Select Default music speaker to choose which TV or speaker to use for music.
