Smart bulbs won't change color

Other folks have posted about this issue with the resolution but for some stupid reason I can't respond in that form to say that it didn't work for me which is ridiculous. So here I am creating a whole new thread just to say that the resolution of going into the Google home app and the link with Google thing and relinking the smart bulb app does not work in my case. It's been about 15 minutes since I changed it and it still doesn't work. I did it a couple times too just to make sure everything was linked properly and I double check the apps to make sure all my smart bulb apps were linked. Still it doesn't work. Anyone else find another solution? I'm so sick of how crappy the speaker is lately. It thinks I'm not logged into YouTube when I cast to my TV via the nest mini, but yet if I go to play a YouTube video on another device it will detect that I'm using my YouTube account in two places and so it will stop the playback on the other device which is ridiculous because on the other device it doesn't show that I'm logged in and actually prompts me to log in which there is no way to do because my device already is.....in any case, it would be nice if I could at least get my light bulbs to change color again with the speaker.

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out.

 

May I know what Nest speakers and smart lights are affected? How far are they from your router? Since you've already tried relinking it to your Home app, it would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot on all devices starting by unplugging the power cord from your router followed by your Nest speaker then, your smart bulbs. Plug them back in after 3 mins in order. Restarting your phone and re-installing your Home app might help.
