I cannot get my google home to connect to my spotify account. It shows up under media as a linkable service. I click it. I sign into Spotify. It opens my Spotify app and says “authorizing”, then shows a check mark like it was successful. I go back into my google home app, and it’s not connected. Both accounts use the same email address.

Yes! So, randomly I tried to open the Spotify app widget again from my hub max screen, and it told me it wasn’t set up, like usual, BUT this time instead of saying “you can do that on the app” it said “do you want me to set it up for you now?” And that, finally, was successful. No idea how it happened… maybe you could ask her directly to link your Spotify account for you if she doesn’t offer? Lol Sorry I’m not more helpful.
