The language settings only work for my phones assistant not for my google speaker

I changed the language on settings but it only worked on my phone not my speaker

Thank you for posting in our community. Sorry to hear that your previous attempt to change the language didn't seem to work. I do have a couple of idea's of what may be going on here, so let's see what we can figure out.

1. To start, I'd like to make sure that we've gone through all of the proper steps when changing the language of your Google Assistant. You can review those steps here.
2. Its possible that the language you are attempting to use is not available for that specific device. Depending on with speaker you are using, you can scroll to the bottom of that same article to double check.

Please let me know if that works. If not, we'd be more than happy to look into additional troubleshooting options.
