There is a problem with Google Home Premium and Gemini in Spain.

From the end of October, we're switching from Nest Aware to Google Home Premium. We're going from paying approximately €7 to €10 for Home Premium, which I imagine includes the generative AI features. The problem is that we're paying for Google Home Premium without Gemini; we're still using Google Assistant. I would have understood the price increase if Google Gemini were working, but we're using Google Assistant because Gemini isn't compatible with Home in our region, and we're paying as if we had it, even though we don't.

The Gemini for Home features are currently rolling out as part of an Early Access program. While the Google Home Premium subscription is available in Spain, the full Gemini for Home experience may not be active for all users in all regions yet, as it is being gradually rolled out to Early Access customers.

To get early access to Gemini for Home, just sign up by following the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app (version 4.0+).
  2. Click on Settings (in the new 3-tab design it is at the top right; tap your profile picture or initial; in the older design click on the Settings tab).
  3. Then click on Early Access.
  4. You’ll be notified in the app when you can begin. Early access is first available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, and will later expand to other countries.

Hello. At the beginning of November in Spain, the option to pre-register for the Gemini for Home experience became available, and I am registered for it. I am still using Google Assistant.
